Chapter History

The noble Beta Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated is one of extreme pride and determination. Its members consist of the best and brightest young men that the campus of South Carolina State University has to offer. Since it’s inception by founding Brother Charles W. Green at the then State A&M College, the men of Beta Delta have strived to do their best, and only their best, in an effort to uplift both themselves, and most importantly, our sacred Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity as a whole.

We wish not to be a determinant to this awesome organization, but rather a bright “light” and example of what an Alpha man is and can do with the resources at his disposal. We wish to only prove what the Fraternity has already established, that Alpha Men through Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for all Mankind are an asset to not just the African American community but to all of society.
